IQ Innovationspreis Mitteldeutschland 2023

Applications for the 19th edition of the IQ Innovation Award Central Germany and the local innovation awards in Leipzig, Halle (Saale) and Magdeburg can still be submitted until 13 March 2023 at www.iq-mitteldeutschland.de. The competition, which is endowed with a total of around 70,000 euros, is open to entries in the five clusters Automotive, Life Sciences, Chemicals/Plastics, Energy/Environment/Solar Industry and Information Technology. The winners of the IQ Innovation Award Central Germany will be determined in a multi-stage jury process and announced at a festive awards ceremony on 22 June 2023. For the first time this year, all participants have the opportunity to register for the private angels network BAM! Business Angels Mitteldeutschland.

What can you apply for?

Awards are given for marketable products, processes and services that have been on the market for no longer than two years. However, potentially disruptive early-stage projects can also be submitted and will be given equal consideration in the evaluation process. Each application must be assigned to at least one of the cluster categories of the IQ competition.

Who can apply?

The IQ is primarily aimed at young entrepreneurs (start-ups), founders, students and scientists. But it is also open to existing companies. In principle, anyone can apply with an appropriate application item. Applicants who do not come from the federal states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt or Thuringia must answer the following question during the application process: What concrete impact will your innovation have in Central Germany and through what measures will this be achieved?

Applications for the IQ Innovation Award Central Germany 2023 can only be submitted online via our application form from 05 December 2022 to 13 March 2023.
