The startup IdentMe welcomed Saxony-Anhalt’s Ministry of the Environment on the 14th of July 2021. The minister Claudia Dalbert informed herself about the eDNA detection method for animals and plants in water bodies developed by Anne Findeisen, Patricia Holm and Richard Pabst. Specifically, a suitable funding program and the possible implementation or application in cooperation with the State Office for Environmental Protection was discussed.
