You can choose between 3 programs depending on your development stage and focus: 9 months, 6 months and 3 months.

You get in-depth training in 8 key elements every founder needs. We work with a market driven approach, ensuring your technology fits perfectly to your customers. You’ll benefit from extra sessions with industry experts and mentors. To help you stay focused, motivated and organized we have bi-weekly Check In’s with your personal coach.

Who can apply to the Startup Elevator?

Startups in the fields of life science, bioeconomy, health tech, and green innovation are eligible. We welcome teams in the pre-seed, seed and growth phase with scalable solutions.

Do I need to be based in Saxony-Anhalt to participate?

You don’t need to be based in Saxony-Anhalt at the time of your application. However you should be willing to relocate or establish operations here. We support startups looking to build a presence in the region.

Can I join the program as a solo founder?

Yes, solo founders are welcome to apply. However, having a committed co-founder or team may strengthen your application and chances to succeed.

What industries or technologies does the program focus on?

We focus on life sciences, bioeconomy, biotech, health technologies, medical devices, digital health, new materials and green innovations, among others with a clear scientific or technological foundation.

What is the difference between the Business Accelerator and the Investment Bootcamp?

The Business Accelerator is a 9-month program focused on business development, IP, product-market fit, and growth strategy. The Investment Bootcamp is an intensive 12-week track designed to prepare you for funding—covering pitch training, financial planning, and investor access.

Do I have to give away equity to join the program?

No, the Startup Elevator is a no-equity, no-fee program. You retain full ownership of your startup.

What kind of support will I receive during the program?

You’ll receive individual coaching, tailored workshops, infrastructure access (offices, labs, free coworking), marketing support, and connections to mentors, partners, and investors.

How often do I meet with my coaches?

You’ll meet your personal coaches regularly throughout the program. Frequency depends on your development plan but typically includes monthly check-ins and milestone reviews.

Are workshops mandatory and how are they structured?

Core workshops are an essential part of the program as they are sector-specific, hands-on, and led by experts.

What happens after the program ends?

You become part of our alumni network—giving you continued access to events, expert contacts, and visibility within our growing life sciences and bioeconomy ecosystem.
