We aim to help startups and founding projects develop, make progress, and bring their ideas forward so that they can be successfully established on the market. With our designed workshops, coachings, and individual consultations we want to offer the best possible support to provide guidance for topics like business model development, finance, and certification.

The Startup-Accelerator is a four-month intensive program with rotating workshop and coaching periods. Designed workshops focus on different topics like Marketing & Sales, HR, and CSR. The Growth-Accelerator on the other hand is scheduled all year long and is concentrating on the individual needs and challenges of the teams.

The Weinberg Campus with its scientific orientation is part of the biggest technology park in Central Germany and offers from modern technical infrastructure to excellent know-how to an international network great conditions for foundations and entrepreneurship. The seven non-university research facilities invite you to mingle, cooperate and work together on revolutionary innovations. Our cooperations with the BioEconomy Cluster and the Univations GmbH with the associated Investforum demonstrate another significant advantage. Together we stand out with many years of experience, broad knowledge in entrepreneurship, and development opportunities to help bring your startup and business idea forward.

The program is free of charge.

The Weinberg Campus Accelerator is a project that is funded by means of the European Union (ESF) and the Ministry for Economy, Science, and Digitalisation of Saxony-Anhalt.

The first step is to apply on our website at “Application”. There you can fill in all necessary data, choose between Startup- and Growth-Accelerator and upload a current pitch deck if you have one. After that we will review the application and get back to you via e-mail.

If you get a confirmation from us, the second step is to fill in the documents we send you along an e-mail. The following documents must be submitted: contract of participation, participant agreement, participant survey for admission, (temporary) De-minimis declaration, usage agreement (if necessary) and the profile.

Data protection is very important to us. On our website you can read the privacy policy. If you cannot participate in the accelerator program all your submitted documents and information will be destroyed. If you participate in the accelerator you will get an extra contract of participation.

Knowledge and technology-based founding projects and startups from the following areas can apply: Biomedical & Life Sciences as well as Bioeconomy, Greentech and New Materials.

During the program it is not possible to found a company outside of Saxony-Anhalt.

Due to the Growth-Accelerator the Weinberg Campus Accelerator can work with the startups throughout the whole project period until April 2022.
