We are very happy to share the following information regardinig the former accelerator participant InLine-Med GmbH with you:

Magdeburg-based MedTech company InLine-Med announces the closing of a further funding round. In addition to a re-investment by the existing investors, business angels affiliated with the company and anchor investor bmp Ventures representing IBG RKF III Fonds, experienced private investors Kristin and Prof. Dr. Ralf Lüdemann were convinced.

InLine-Med’s vision is to provide intuitive, safe and effective tools and software solutions for planning and navigation of image-guided procedures. In interventional radiology, especially incancer diagnosis and treatment, needle-based procedures are performed using MRI, CT or ultrasound. However, these are highly complex and pose numerous risks to patients due to the lack of positioning tools.

“InLine-Med has developed an innovative solution with constant consideration of the clinical end-user. The team has made tremendous progress in product development since our initial investment two years ago, enabling patients and clinics to benefit from the technology very soon. We look forward to supporting the team to take the next step in bringing their solutions to market.” Philipp Kopp, Investment Associate at bmp Ventures

With the capital increase and the new experts in the shareholder group, InLine Med is now taking off into the market.
After successful development of the hardware and usability testing with clinical partners, InLine-Med plans to use the raised capital to certify and launch these products and finalize the navigation software. To achieve this, Inline-Med was not only able to convince existing investors to further support the company’s vision. With the business angel Ralf Lüdemann as well as Kristin Lüdemann, who represents an investment-experienced family office and a foundation, two new investors are joining the shareholder group, who also want to support the company with their specialized operational expertise.

“With its innovative product portfolio, InLine-Med will significantly increase the safety and efficiency of image-guided procedures. The team convinced me right from the start with its professional approach and open manner. In addition, I am excited by the mix of innovation and detailed analysis that is reflected in both the products and the team itself. I am looking forward to working together!“ Prof. Dr. Ralf Lüdemann, new investor

“The family office and foundation primarily invested in InLine-Med GmbH because of the exceptional added value of the products for cancer diagnostics and therapy. I started my career as a medical engineer and have focused on strategic development and marketing for the last 15 years. I am excited to share my experience with the team and to help shaping the future of medical technology.“ Kristin Lüdemann, new investor

Juan Sebastián Sánchez López and Sinja Lagotzki, founders of InLine-Med are convinced that they are in an optimal position for the continued successful development of their company: “This financing round shows once again that all investors trust in the team and the vision of InLine-Med. We have a group of highly qualified investors. Each of them brings valuable expertise and contributes to the growth of the company.”

We are wishing the team all the best!
