The Weinberg Campus Accelerator starts its 3rd Batch which means it is half-time. About one year after the project start of the Weinberg Campus Accelerator, two successfully completed class phases can already be looked back on. On June 1st, 2021, the 3rd class in the field of Biomedical Life Sciences, one of the core industries of the Accelerator program, is about to start.
Until May 09th, 2021, tech-startups in Biomedical Life Sciences have the opportunity to apply via the online application form and can fine-tune their business idea during an intensive four-month program.
What can the Startups expect
In a four-month class phase, the participating startups will undergo various workshops, coaching sessions, and individual consultations. The topcis that will be covered range from business model development to certification, financing and to marketing and sales. In addition to these core topics, soft skills such as time and project management or negotiation skills as well as pitch training are also offered. On the one hand, the aim of the accelerator is to ensure a steep learning curve and to give the startups the best opportunity to scale their business ideas with the help of industry-specific know-how and the technical infrastructure of the Weinberg Campus Technology Park. On the other hand, the startups can pitch their business models in front of potential investors at the final event.
